This antique pedestal cake stand with rim was made by Bryce Higbee Glass Company in their Curlicue pattern, introduced in 1901. It features a curlicue design on the top (raised underneath), scalloped lip edge, and a crosshatch design on the base with a sparkly oval ball pedestal. It does glow green under UV light due to its Manganese content typical in older glassware.
It measures 9 1/2" wide, 4 3/4" high, and weighs 1 pounds 10 ounces. It is in excellent condition for it's 100+ year old age, with no cracks or chips and very few wear marks.
