This beautiful crystal glass compote features a paneled leaf design, scalloped edges, ornate stem and foot, and clear crystal ring sound. It glows green under UV ultra violet light due to its manganese content, which was commonly used as a clearing agent in glassware prior to 1920.
It measures 5 3/8" high, 5 1/4" wide, and weighs 1 1/2 pounds. It is in good overall condition for it's age, with no cracks, one small chip on the base as pictured, and some wear marks and spots.
A lovely piece for serving fruit, candy/nuts, or as a decorative sparkly centerpiece or decor accent.
