This one of a kind mixed media abstract stained glass suncatcher loosely depicts an ocean sailing scene. It incorporates opalescent art glass, cathedral art glass, glass tiles, sea glass, glass nuggets, and a real seashell too!
This piece measures 8 1/4" wide, 7 1/2" tall, with a hanging length of 12 1/4", and comes ready to hang with a chain and suction cup hanger. The solder is silver colored, but will look darker in a lighted window. Please note that what looks like a crack in the lower right corner of the purple "sail" is actually a striation within the glass, which is characteristic of Youghiogheny art glass.
Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
