This set of six adorable hand-painted porcelain ducks are from the Avon Collector Duck Series issued in 1983-1984. They measure between 3 1/2-4" long and 1 3/4-2 1/2" high, and weigh from 5-5.5 ounces each.
The ducks included are:
1983 Issue: Mallard
1984 Issue: Pintail, Canvasback, Wood Duck, Green-winged Teal, and Bufflehead
Five of the six are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and a few wear marks. The sixth (Bufflehead) has a couple small chips as pictured. Please see all photos for condition details.
Please note that vintage and hand blown glass pieces may have manufacturing flaws such as air bubbles, seams, pontil marks, and other imperfections. These anomalies are not considered damage as they are inherent to the methods and/or the time period in which they were made. Hand-painted items will have some minor imperfections, as that is the nature of hand-painted art.
