This bright aqua blue large glass sugar bowl was made by Westmoreland Specialty Company in their 1776 Colonial Pattern. It features their unique handle design and indented panels all around. Please note that this is missing the lid that originally came with it.
It measures 7 1/8" wide including the handles, 4 3/4" across, 3 1/2" tall, and has a 14 ounce capacity. It weighs a hefty 1 pound, 6 ounces, and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and a few wear marks. It is also UV reactive, glowing green under ultra violet light as pictured due to it's manganese content.
With it's large capacity, it could also be used for serving gravy / sauces, candy/nuts, or anything else in colorful style!
