Antique Milk Glass 9 Inch Pedestal Cake Plate, Challinor Taylor Floral Design Cake Stand, Pastry Dessert Display Plate

This gorgeous hand painted antique milk glass pedestal cake stand was made by Challinor Taylor and Company some time between 1884-1891.  It is 9 1/4" wide, 5 7/8" tall, weighs 2 pounds, 10 ounces. and features a delicate floral design on top with red and black stripes on the base and rim.

For being over 130 years old, this piece is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, a few minor use marks, and some wear of the striping on the plate edge.  The flower design on top is in excellent condition.  Please note there are some black marks on the edge and underside of the plate as pictured.  I am not sure what they are, but they would not wash off with soap and water, or rubbing alcohol.  Please see all photos for condition details.
